Micro Fluid-Isolation Rocker Valve

ASCO Numatics introduces a new light-weight (9 g) valve with 10 mm pitch and unique fluid handling characteristics to complement its line of micro solenoid valves. The special MICRO rocker mechanism ensures safe operation in sensitive analytical, biotechnological and medical application environments.

The wetted parts of series 067 consist of high-quality materials such as PEEK (body) and FFKM (diaphragm).

The valve's special features are its optimum self-draining capability, low-volume (13 ml) and easy-to-flush internal cavity, and the hermetic separation between the fluid and the electromagnetic control system. It is used in applications with liquid or gaseous, high-purity or aggressive fluids within a pressure range of vacuum at -0.9 bar up to 3 bar. The valve is available in orifice sizes 0.6 – 0.8 – 1.0 and 1.35 mm.

The valve's integrated power-save electronics for low power consumption makes it suitable for battery operation. The special rocker mechanism combined with a separating diaphragm prevents heat transfer into the fluid and eliminates the sticking effect of the valve seat to ensure safe opening and closing.
All usual connector types, horizontal or vertical with contact spacing of 2.54 mm and 5.08 mm, and flying leads can be provided as standard.
