ASCO Introduces Catalog 35


FLORHAM PARK, NEW JERSEY, USA, July 19, 2010 – ASCO, the world’s leading manufacturer of solenoid valves, today introduced Catalog 35, the latest catalog that includes our comprehensive product portfolio.  Catalog 35 replaces Catalog 34 and is available in a bound version that is compact and easy-to-use. Catalog 35 is also available online at ASCO Product Catalog 35.  Customers will have immediate access to product information and the ability to search for part numbers inside each pdf using the search function of Adobe® Acrobat®. In addition to a variety of new products, the ASCO Express Guaranteed SameDay Shipment Program is also featured throughout the catalog.  The Condensed Listing section, located on page IV also includes a quick reference to the products that qualify for ASCO Express and/or 5Day based on voltage required.

Special Service Pilot Valves Section

  • New 0.55 Watt Low Power Solenoid Valves:  2-way, 3-way, and 4-way low power solenoid valves with a highly efficient 0.55 Watt molded one-piece solenoid design providing reduced temperature rise, increased battery life, reduced wiring cost, and energy savings.  1/4” to 1” NPT pipe sizes with aluminum, brass, and stainless steel bodies.
  • New Series EV8308/EV8310 High-Shock Manual Reset Valves:  3/8” NPT, 3- way manual reset valves designed to meet vibration and/or shock per ISA specification S71.03C2.    Brass and stainless steel constructions with electrically tripped or no voltage release operation.
  • New Series EV8308 Tamperproof High-Shock Manual Reset Valves:  1/4” and 1/2” NPT, 3- way stainless steel manual reset valves designed to keep the valve in the shut-off position when the solenoid is de-energized, even if the handle is lifted.  Also meets vibration and/or shock per ISA specification S71.03C2.   

Special Service Valves Section

  • New Series 8262H/8263H Cryogenic Solenoid Valves:  1/8”, 1/4", and 3/8” NPT, 2-way solenoid valves for cryogenic fluids with increased flows and pressure ratings.
  • New Power Pulse Dust Collector Valves:  1½” NPT, 2-way high flow, dust collector pulse valves in remote and integral pilot constructions.
  • Type 4X Dust Collector Pilot Valve Enclosures:  Dust collector pilot valve enclosures with standard Type 4X, watertight and corrosion resistant rating.
  • New Series 8262H/8263H Long Life Solenoid Valves:  1/4" and 3/8” NPT, 2-way long life valves with 20 million cycle capability.  Expanded offering of pipe, orifice sizes, and stainless steel body material.
  • New Series 8262H/8263H Ammonia Service Solenoid Valves:  1/4” and 3/8” NPT, 2-way solenoid valves with stainless steel bodies and internal materials suitable for anhydrous and gaseous ammonia.
  • New Series 8262H Dry Air Solenoid Valves:  1/4” NPT, 2-way solenoid valves with brass or stainless steel bodies suitable for non-lubricated air.
  • New Series 8220 Steam & Hot Water Solenoid Valves:  3/8” through 1”, 2-way for steam and hot water service with extremely high flows and long life.

Combustion Section

  • New Double Gas Shutoff Valves:  Double gas shutoff valves from 3/4" to 3” NPT with the ability for the customer to assemble a compact double solenoid gas train, a double Hydramotor gas train, or a solenoid and Hydramotor combination gas train via flange mount connections to save space and reduce installation and maintenance costs.
  • New Series 8214 200 Solenoid Gas Shutoff Valves:  3/4” through 3”NPT, 2-way safety shutoff valves for fuel gas service.  Modular Design with flange connections for easy installation and service.
  • New Series AH2E Hydramotor Actuators and V710 Valve Bodies:  The Series AH2E is used with Series V710 gas valve bodies to provide main line gas control for a wide range of applications including boilers, furnaces, ovens, and all type of industrial and commercial burners.  The Series V710 gas valves have significantly increased flow and flange mount connections for easy installation and maintenance.
