Emerson has introduced zoned safety capability to its ASCO Numatics™ Series 501 and Series 502 valve manifolds, thereby providing a wider range of assemblies with this functionality. The zoned safety approach – already available in the ASCO Numatics Series 503 valve manifold – enables up to three safety zones to be isolated on a machine from a single assembly. This facilitates improvements in asset availability and productivity, leading to increased profitability.

Emerson announces the introduction of the ASCO Numatics 653 Series of air preparation products. Available in 1/2", 3/4" and 1" port sizes, the 653 Series has a high flow rate for its size. This enables customers to power more products from the same Filter-Regulator or Lubricator (FRL), or reduce pressure drop across the system, both of which enable potential energy and cost savings. The range of the 651, 652 and 653 Series consists of filters, regulators, filter regulators, lubricators, soft starts, quick exhausts, diverter blocks and shut off valves.
