Shake, Rattle and Roll:
ASCO Power Switches Exceed
IBC Seismic Requirements

The news is out and it's hot!
ASCO Power Transfer Switches meet or exceed International Building Code (IBC) 2003 requirements for severe seismic events.

The IBC 2003 requires that transfer switches for emergency power systems be subjected to simulated severe earthquake forces, rather than an engineering analysis. They must be able to operate before and after the test.

ASCO Power Transfer Switches, of course, meet this requirement. How do they exceed it? The ASCO transfer switches also operated during the test.
