Protective relays such as timed and instantaneous over current settings are provided as separate relays that operates in conjunction with an 86 Lock-out Relay. Breakers are capable of 5 cycle stored energy closing. The Draw-out feature provides for connected, test, and disconnected positions. In the connected position, the main line and load terminals, and all auxiliary control contacts, and circuitry are connected, and the breakers are fully operable.

Circuit breaker control switches are provided for all electrically operated circuit breakers. Control switches have built-in indicating lights to indicate breaker status (open, closed).

Distribution sections are provided with main bus of the same ampacity as the generator switchgear sections. Bus is 3 phase, 3 wire, copper, rated 49 KAIC.
